Welcome

In preparation for our trip to Global, We want to share a bit about what companies we can look for.


We help startup companies who have disruptive technologies, and we help them with business development and funding. Part of the business development value that we bring is to develop the proof points for funding. Identification and realization of certain proof points enables an investment firm to decide to invest money into the company.


It is an investment banker’s axiom that “Traction gets money before money gets traction.”  Therefore, G6 Global believes that business development and funding go hand in hand, even in the early stages of a startup.


There are two types of disruptive technology; one is that which disrupts an existing industry standard and the other is technology which has never existed before. The latter is our specialty.

We also like to work with under-performing startup companies where we identify and solve problems that are keeping the startup from achieving its potential.  We like to work with portfolios of companies. We assess which companies can be redirected toward growth and which underperforming companies it might be better to spin off. We employ four elements of examination that allow us to understand why a company has been underperforming.


We find that successful startups will have either distribution channels or intellectual property or a talented team or a combination of the three. Companies can be successful with two of the three, but it is hard to be successful with only one. We assess strengths and strategy relative to these three parameters.


We begin our consulting engagement process with data gathering, then a face to face meeting with the principal.

There’s an old saying. “You don’t get a second chance to make a first impression.” And first impressions are critical considering how fast opinions spread. We often fine tune a company’s outreach messaging by crafting content for marketing material. Typical G6 Global deliverables may include:
